A Palestinian baker makes bread the Arab traditional food, Mansaf, outside of his bakery on the main blocked road by Israeli army in the north intrance of al-Khalil. Mansaf is a Bedouin dish and often symbolizes an occassion. Mansaf consists of Arabic rice, a rich broth made from dry sour milk (jameed), and either lamb or chicken. Whether Palestinians are celebrating a graduation, an engagement, or a wedding-Mansaf is commonly served. In addition, Mansaf is also served during condolences and as a means to patch up ties with others. Mansaf on the menu is the greatest symbol in Arab culture for generosity.

Palestinian territories to the eastern side of the Green Line into Israel. Through constructing the Apartheid
Wall, Israel is annexing, confiscating, and bulldozing thousands of dunums of Palestinian lands, uprooting
thousands of fruit trees, cutting off Palestinian towns and villages from their countryside, and fragmenting
Palestinian built-up areas in segregated pockets on both sides of the Apartheid Wall.
